The Motion Lab

Roll, bounce, and spin! Step into our bustling physics area to learn how gears interlock and machines move. Kids can build their own giant marble runs, test how fast wooden cars travel down steep ramps, and pull themselves up using giant pulleys.

  • Build endless track combinations
  • Experiment with gravity and friction
  • Safe, padded flooring for active play

Water Wonders

Splash Stream

Put on a waterproof apron and guide the flow! Our indoor water table lets young scientists build dams, float tiny boats, and watch how water powers big wheels.

It is a gentle, sensory-rich environment where little ones learn cause and effect by watching whirlpools spin and fountains bubble.

Tip for parents: We provide waterproof smocks, but bringing an extra shirt is always a good idea!

Space Quest

Cosmic Commander

Step into the rocket cabin and prepare for lift-off. In our darkest and quietest exhibit zone, glowing buttons and radar screens let children navigate through the stars.

Turn the communication dials, plot a course to the moon, and learn fun facts about planets along the journey. Perfect for quiet focus and imaginative roleplay.

Who Can Play?

Fun For Every Size

Whether you have a crawling baby or a curious ten-year-old, we have designed activities to match their growing minds.

Mini Explorers

Ages 0-4

Soft climbing blocks, low-level sensory boards, and gentle light displays. A safe enclosed area specifically for toddlers to roam freely.

Junior Scientists

Ages 5-8

The core of the discovery centre! Perfect for big motor skills, building ramps, moving water, and loud, joyful experimentation.

Master Inventors

Ages 9+

More complex logic puzzles, coding challenges, and daily engineering tasks. Ask our friendly staff for the Master Inventor toolkit!

Sensory Support

We want everyone to feel comfortable. If the main exhibit floor gets too loud, ask our front desk for a free sensory bag containing ear defenders, sunglasses, and tactile fidgets. We also host Quiet Afternoons every Tuesday—check our Plan Your Visit page for times.

Common Questions

How long does a visit take?

Most families spend about 2 to 3 hours exploring our interactive zones, but you are welcome to stay as long as you like!

Can we touch everything?

Yes! Our exhibits are designed to be hands-on. We encourage kids to push buttons, turn gears, and build.

Are the exhibits safe for young children?

Safety is our top priority. All zones are built with child-friendly materials, and we have a dedicated soft-play area for toddlers.
